As the president and owner of Exciting Events for nearly thirty years I am still passionate about being interactive with our clients. I love to sit down with each and every one to brainstorm innovative ideas and larger than life concepts to make their event spectacular. Not only myself, but the company has a passion for serving local charities and non-profits in the community. Each year I am honored to be asked to auctioneer / emcee a dozen events for non-profits. When I’m not at the office I provide music for 18,000 screaming fans at the Bradley Center. I’m continually thinking of new and unique products and turnkey ideas to make our clients events stand above the rest. I’ve been truly blessed with a talented staff and their combined efforts allows us to continue to do what we do.
Katarina Scheel- CFO
Josef Leutner- Vice President
Josef worked at building a career for himself at a few different places, but none of them were just right. He joined our staff in 1990. He has an eclectic background that fits his role her perfectly. Josef has been an auto body mechanic, a landscaper, a chef, an automotive mechanic, and a machinist “running machines at 6000 rpm – he says grunting proudly”. When Todd heard of Josef’s mechanical ability the time was right. So he signed on with the best team building props and maintaining equipment. Josef spends much of his time in our manufacturing department machining and engineering each and every product, to bring you a quality product he is proud of.

Steven Weber- Marketing and Jack of 16 Other Things
Most likely when you call you’ll hear Steven's voice as your welcome. When he’s not helping out the office staff , sending out the monthly newsletters and marketing research during the week, you’ll find him attending various concerts throughout the year. He's been with company for almost 5 years and looks forward to coming into work each every day. If you need ANYTHING, he's your guy.
Andy has been using his A/V techniques and skill set for almost 20 years in the event industry. As the operations manager, he uses his expertise of logistics to make sure an event is run the right way, start to finish. Andy also handles everyday office tasks including dealing with employee requests and making the schedule… he can do it all! When he’s not working a gig or at the office you’ll find him camping, hiking or rock climbing. He loves German cars, but not as much as his daughter.
Jacob Otto- Director of Creative Design
Jake has been with the company for almost ten years. He started with the company as a D.J. at 15 years old. He later attended the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, majoring in Industrial design. After graduating, he brought his design skills back to the company. He takes care of new product designs, graphic designs for the company and sports products, and fabrication of custom products. The only thing he loves more than watching new ideas come to life during the building process, is fishing.
